Connections, can heal.
I am a thoughtful and dedicated licensed therapist with a graduate degree in social work from Fordham University School of Social Services and an undergraduate degree in social services from Skidmore College. In my practice I work to help people of all ages feel a sense of transformation, healing and connection to themselves and others. My approach is unique, earned through years of study and experience with a full spectrum of patients.
I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, body image concerns, and exercise addiction, working mainly with adolescents, adults and families. I also have extensive experience treating those struggling with stress and anxiety, shame and guilt, depression, relationship problems, parent coaching, new motherhood, and life and career transitions.
Before entering into private practice, I was an outpatient therapist in individual, family, couples and group settings, including an Intensive Outpatient Program specific to adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders. My dedication to psychotherapeutic intervention began in the earliest years of my career at Silver Hill Hospital when I worked with adolescents in crisis and deepened further in the psychiatric department of Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
